Week 84: "why did the mushroom have tons of friends"

cause he was a fungi (a fun guy)

Alright officially the craziest week of my mission. Tuesday we flew down to Bangkok for mission leadership conference, got back on Wednesday night. Thursday morning we went down to Khon Kaen about 3 hours south of us to do training and have a switch off. Friday we got home in the afternoon and did training for our district and Nong Kai's district.. Saturday we woke up in the morning and drove like seriously 4 hours to this place called Sakon Nakhon to go do training there. Literally way more time traveling this week than actually working, and today right after emailing we are going to be going to Laos for 3 days.

Last Monday was good. We went ice skating and it was way fun. The branch president from one of the nearby areas, Kumphawapii, came too and he was a beast at ice skating hahaha sooo weird for a Thai person. After that we had family home evening and Tiw's house and it was way fun. She is definitely my mom from this area. I feel like I have one specific mom from each area. Haha I love it.

Tuesday we had district meeting which was way good. Then me and Elder Jeng went out inviting for a bit and then headed to the airport to fly down to Bangkok. Flight was good! A year and a half is definitely the longest stretch of time without flying in a plane. I was probably way more excited than I should have been. We got into Bangkok and some people from an old area picked me and Elder Jeng up from the airport and took us out to dinner. So nice!

Wednesday we had MLC. SOOOO much policy and standards and just everything were changed, and all of them were for sure inspirted and for the good of this mission. First huge thing: NO MORE TRANSFERS MEETING. Also we made a bunch of changes to go more in harmony with PMG. There definitely is a "Thailand Bangkok Mission" culture that causes a lot of people to just ignore some points in PMG or in the white handbook, so they cleared all that stuff up and it was way good.. But to be honest none of you would be interested in that soooo hahaha lololol... bye

Khon Kaen was way sick! I went with Elder Chio. Man that kid is a stud. We served together in Bangkhen. He actually just barely got back from the US. A while back his dad passed away and so he went home to his funeral but now he's back out. So crazy how dedicated he is to this work and how he knows its going to bless him! He taught me a lot that day.

The rest of the week was solid but I really gotta go now so I'll just send you some pics. Love you guyszz. Sorry!

1. i feel like it was a tradition for my family to eat burger king ever time we went through the salt lake airport so i was way excited to see a burger king at the airport in bangkok hahaha.
2. saying bye to my boiii brother boss. he's going down to bangkok to learn english so he can go to the US and find himself a nice lady.
